Frequency Machine Technology

GB4000 Frequency Generator with MOPA and Plasma TubeModern solid state circuitry uses low voltage, high current designs, to avoid the additional engineering and component costs involved in building the types of machines used in the 1930's and 1940's. The M.O.P.A amplifier/oscillator combines solid state design with analog vacuum tube technology to generate a high voltage, low current output. The ability to produce a high voltage, low currnet output to drive the plasma tube makes the MOPA, coupled with the GB4000 frequency generator unique in the market. And even with the advantages of vacuume tube design, it is still almost $1500.00 less than other comparable plasma tube machines.

Plasma Tube for Frequency Machine Please note: the plasma tube including copper collars with plasma tube holder and connecting wires is sold separately from another company. The cost for the plasma tube is $260.00 plus shipping. The plasma tube is made of Pyrex and is a 2" round by 14" long helium filled tube. It is guaranteed to handle the power output of the MOPA Amplifier.

We recommend the purchase of an Elenco F-2800 Frequency Counter to properly read your
M.O.P.A. Frequency Amplifier.

Since the M.O.P.A. Oscillator/Amplifier uses an old style variable capacitor it is necessary to have a frequency counter so you can set the instrument to what ever frequency you wish to use from 1.1 MHz to 1.9 MHz.

Please note: Frequency counter not supplied with the purchase of the M.O.P.A. Amplifier.

It can be purchased from All Spectrum Electronics 1-877-899-7400 for around $99.00
